I have been associated with Dogstar since their creation in 2006 in Sri Lanka when another volunteer colleague called Sam decided she wanted to help some local puppies in need of treatment, the rest they say is history. Over the years I have been a Dogstar designer, volunteer, web designer, media supporter and now just a loyal fan of the charity and what it stands for. My claim to fame is that I knew of Sam’s plans before her husband did (sorry for encouraging her Mark).
This is their wonderful but sad story
So just think, when you a buy a toy, a small percentage of your money will go to the Dogstar Foundation ‘Street Dog’ program, where a mobile team will visit local stray dogs to ensure they are fed well and treated if there are any signs of illness.
Dogstar also run huge monthly Vaccinations and Spay/Neutering Clinics to prevent disease, suffering, plus more unwanted pups.
